People slashes junior high school girl's T-shirt

 Girl T Shirts A man slashed the T-shirt of a junior highschool girl here but she escaped unhurt, police said. Investigators are searching for the unknown middle-aged suspect,who remains at large. The 13-year-old junior high school girl was stopped by a man frombehind while she was walking on a street in Kitanagoya shortlyafter 8 p.m. on Sunday, according to local police. The man snatched a softball that the student was holding and threwit back to her before slashing her waist with a knife. He then fledon a bicycle, police said. The assault left an approximately 6-centimeter-long cut on theT-shirt that the student was wearing, as well as a cut on her pursethat was in a front pocket of her long pants. The man, aged about 40, was wearing dark clothes and a white hat,police said. The scene of the attack is in a residential area about 800 meterssouthwest of the Kitanagoya Municipal Government headquarters. Thejunior high school girl was on her way home after dropping a letterinto a postbox in the area.
